Counters
You can now animate numbers as counters in Jitter: great for countdowns, growing stats, and any moment where numbers need to stand out. Here's how to use counters:
- Add a text layer with a number on the canvas — that number will be the initial state of your counter.
- In the Animate tab, click Custom and find Counter in the Text section.
- Set the From (where the counter will start), To (what it will count up or down to), and Step (the interval it will counts at) values, choose the effect for the transition, and adjust the duration of your animation if needed.
- That's it — you've just created a counter!
Counters handle just about any number format: integers, decimals, negatives, percentages, and values with units (like $42 or 1,234.50kg).
Other improvements
- Image support in Jitter AI: You can now use images when generating AI effects. Simply paste or drop any image into the chat to share references and examples.
- Better timeline drag'n'drop: Moving operations and groups in the timeline is now a lot smoother with a drop line indicator and auto-scroll.
