Effects and shaders
You can now add effects and shaders in Jitter in a click with the new Effects panel. A lot of the effects you've been seeing around lately (like distortion, 3D flips, dithering, fluted glass, and many more) are now readily available for you to use.
Here's where you can find them:
- Select the layer you'd like to apply an effect to, switch to the Animate tab, and click on Effects.
- Browse the effects by category (Distortion, Post FX, and Utility) and click on a shader of your choice to use it.
- Tweak the settings to dial it in exactly how you want.
- Need something custom? Try AI effect at the top to generate your own unique effects with just a prompt.
That's it: now you've got dozens of new ways to make your animations stand out, all built right in.
Other improvements
- Ultra plan: Jitter now offers a new pricing tier for high-volume, AI-heavy workflows, with 6x the AI credits of the Pro plan. Learn more about Jitter Ultra here.
- Lottie stroke fix: Lottie exports now preserve your stroke caps and joins: the rounded corners and ends you set in Jitter come through exactly as designed.
- Slide and Mask fix: The Slide and Mask text effect now plays sequentially instead of overlapping, so each line animates cleanly one after the other.
