Jitter AI: Opus 5.5
Jitter AI now uses Claude Opus 5.5, Anthropic’s latest model.
Opus 5.5 has a much stronger understanding of motion, making the Jitter AI better at creating transitions, sequencing elements, and building more ambitious animations from a prompt.
Unlike generating a finished video, Jitter AI creates the animation directly on the canvas. Every layer, timing, easing, effect, and design element remains editable, so you can use AI to explore a direction quickly and then refine every detail until it fits your brand.
Claude Opus 5.5 now powers Jitter AI and AI Shaders. As part of the upgrade, generations also use around 25% fewer credits.
Other improvements
- Artboard variations: Ask Jitter AI for variations of a design and it will generate each one as a new artboard right on your canvas, neatly laid out next to your existing work.
- Image-to-video in the composer: Previewing, tweaking the prompt, and generating image-to-video now all happen right in the AI chat composer.
- No credits for failed generations: Image-to-video and background removal no longer use your credits when a generation fails on our end.
- Rate AI responses: Give a 👍 or 👎 on Jitter AI's answers to help us make it better.
- Search layers: Quickly find any layer in the layer list by name. Jitter selects it and zooms right to it.
- Select related: Press Cmd/Ctrl + Enter (or right-click) to jump from a layer to its animations, or from animations back to their layers.
- New mobile share view: Files opened on a phone now show a lightweight, scrollable viewer instead of the editor. On desktop, use the arrow keys to browse artboards and Space to play or pause.
- Better Lottie exports: Resized shape layers (like lines that grow) now export correctly as animated Lottie paths.
